Upright Tokaido Series: # 5 Hodogaya Artist: Hiroshige I Format: Oban tate-e: 14.25" x 9.5" Subject: A scene at the edge of the village with tea-houses festooned with red paper lanterns. Publisher: Tsutaya Kichizo Date: 1855 Condition: Fine colors. Album binding holes along right edge repaired. Laid down on Japanese paper. Minor marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Very good first edition impression.
