Sunday, 11 July 2010 Beautiful view of Lake Chuzenji seen from Utagahama. Two men make their way down wide steps towards a red torii gate at the edge of the water. A ferry approaches the shore, laden with passengers and the white sail of a boat in the distance. Signed - Kawase Hasui with red artist's seal "sui" Sealed - Publisher Watanabe, 6mm seal, later edition original, from original blocks Image size - 14 3/8" x 9 1/2" (oban) Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at two points along right edge from previous folio mounting. Slight creasing near edges. Please see photos for details. Very nice overall.
