This is an original oban size, shin hanga Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) titled "Chii Mountain Temple, Korea", dated Showa 14 (1939), signed/sealed in the image by the artist, titled and dated in kanji along the left margin. The print was published by Watanabe Shozaburo, and bears the Watanabe 6mm seal (1945-1957) which makes this print a lifetime edition (printed during Hasui's lifetime). The print is in overall fine condition. Fine impression, excellent color and registration. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not setdown or trimmed. Paper size is 10.25" x 15.25".
