"53 Stations of the Tokaido". Station #55, Kyoto. Sanjo Oh-hashi Bridge on Kamo River was the end point of the Tokaido Highway, which was the ancient highway system of 496 kilometers connecting Edo and Kyoto. The series "53 Stations of the Tokaido" made Hiroshige famous and many follow-up series followed.
