Province of Kazusa: Yasashi-ga-Ura, commonly called the Ninety-Nine Ri Beach. the land-measure ri equals 2.44 English statute miles.=Gookin Fishermen are pulling in a long net on the famous Kujukuri (ninety-nine ri) Beach. Other people carry fishing baskets along the shore. A rowboat is coming in over the breaking waves and sailboats in the distance are making their way home.
