With two hundred fifty inns, Miya was the largest station on the T kaid . Hiroshige depicts "Chasing of Horses," a festival that is held at night and lit by bonfires at the Atsuta Shrine. This important Shinto shrine holds the Sacred Sword, one of the three imperial regalia.
