Print no. 10 of the series: "Famous Views of the Sixty-odd Provinces" 1425 stone steps comprise the winding path to the eighth-century, cliffside Buddhist Horai Temple, ensconced among cedar trees. The remains of a monastery and several shrines appear even higher up in areas where Hiroshige has parted the mist encircling the mountain.
