Signed in sumi ink Yoshida with artist's seal Hiroshi. With jizuri (self-printed) seal on left margin, followed by the date Showa hachinen saku (Showa 8 [1933]), and the title, Niwa yon dai: Kohan no Niwa. The title printed in English on the bottom margin, A Garden by Biwa Lake, with penciled signature Hiroshi Yoshida, and two karazuri (embossed) artist's seals; one a stylization of his given name, Hiroshi, and the other in the shape of a baren.
