描述:
From the series Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido, the first of the landscape prints that were to make his name. This is the site of modern Yokohama. The waters of Edo (Tokyo) Bay wash the shore which is lined with inns and teahouses. The teahouse maids are trying to lure the travellers inside. About two decades after the print was struck, Commodore Perry sailed into these waters in his 'black ship.' Polster, HIROSHIGE. Framed acid free, ultraviolet protected plexiglass.
