A triptych showing a comic battle between wives and the second wife ( concubine ). An ancient custom: Oko uwanari uchi no. The two groups attack each other using kitchen utensils and other paraphernalia. Published by Maruya Seijiro, 8/1852. Fine impression, colour and condition. Full size. Yellow ground.
