This is a genuine shin hanga oban size Japanese woodblock print by Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) titled "Shojin Lake", dated Showa 9 (1934). The print was published by Doi and bears the Doi cartouche andwatermark. Carver is Harada, printer is Yokoi. This is a very early strike. The condition of this print is fine. Fine impression, excellent color and registration. Good bleedthrough. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not setdown or trimmed. Paper size is 10.5" x 15.5".
