Originally published by Sakai and Kawaguchi. Shobisha obtained the original blocks after the war. The red publisher seal indicated this print is an early post-war shrike, not a recent edition. The seal was only used in the period around 1950 to 1960. Later Hasui reprints do not show this seal.
