Monday, 14 November 2005 Shrine Gate in Snow by Kawase Hasui. Original woodblock print circa 1930s. Very rare. Compare to Hp-56 on page 144 of the Hotei catalog which appears to be just a picture of a picture. Unusual Hasui seal in lower left corner of image. Print is in very good condition. A little light foxing in margins. Strong texture and ink bleedthrough. 6.5 x 4.4 inches.
