In the distance rises the white cone of Mount Fuji above the dark foothills in a crimson sky, changing to deep blue above. In the foreground a traveller on a pack-horse led by a coolie, and others coming up from the village below. Publisher: Tsutaya Kichizo Date: 1855 Condition: Fine colors. Full size with large margins. Laid down on Japanese album backing paper. A light album crease along left margin. Minor marks, soils and flaws. Generally fine state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression.
