Woodblock triptych print, oban tate-e. Prowess of Imai Kanehira at the Battle of Awazu (1184), the scene is in the snow, with water and the mountains in the background; he is shown on a black horse in the centre fighting under the pine tree of Karasaki on the shore of Lake Biwa, with Minamoto no Yoshitsune at the left.
