"Washington Kinento - Potomac kahan" (The Washington Monument on the Potomac river. This design was privately commissioned by Takezo SHIOTA in San Francisco. Unlike Hiroshi Yoshida, his equally beluminous fellow Shin Hanga artist, he seldom travelled outside Japan. This one is probably the only design showing a scenery of USA.
