"A View of Naruto Rapid Whirpools of Awa Province" This is one of three sets of triptychs based on the "Snow, Moon and Flower" series. This is "flower" from the theme, meaning "nami no hana" (flowers of the ocean wave). The series is considered to be among Hiroshige's greatest masterpieces.
