"A view of the New Yoshiwara." Righthand sheet of a multi-sheet composition. Many people are shown coming in the quarter through the Omon-guchi, the great entrance gate. Just within, two of the gaudily bedecked women of the quarter are looking at a man who wears a black haori and a sukin to match, and who has his arm about the kamuro of one of the women.
