描述：
A seated woman is looking at the reflection of her face in a mirror. Behind her another woman in a yukata (bath robe) holds an uchiwa (round fan) and looks down at her. Above them is inscribed the famous hokku (short ode) by Onitsura. Two courtesans have finished their baths and are now hurrying to apply makeup and get dressed for the evening. The hot, late summer-early autumn atmosphere is indicated by the round fan (uchiwa) held by one of the women and by the verse (a humorous senryu):
