A portrait of the famous actor of woman's roles, shown in woman's attire, standing in his dressing room beside a chest containing his make-up accesories. Hanging behind him is a large red-brown cloth bearing in white the mimasu mon ofthe actors of the Ichikawa line. This cloth resembles the suo worn by the Danjuro in their shibaraku (wait awhile!) acts,
