A lovely print by Kunisada's pupil and son-in-law, showing Higami Kyuroku from the kabuki play based on the Hakkenden novel or Story of Eight Dog Warriors by Bakin, involving two conflicting clans in Awa Province. This is a very sharp impression with the grain of the woodblock visible. Published by Tsutaya Kichizo.
