Saturday, 26 September 2009 Shin Hanga: Woman's Hood Lot AU62 Artist: Umeji Takahisa Format: Large oban tate-e: 17" x 12" approx Subject: Kato the publisher produced a number of prints from sketches and designs by Umeji, particularly of young Japanese women in early 1920's western fashions. This example is probably the most famous. Produced in a limited edition of 150 impressions, of which this is numbered 30.
