The market takes place usually once per month. For this occasion people dress up and go to the market to make their purchases, to chat, to see and to be seen. This young woman from an ethnic minority in her beautiful costume is holding a rooster in her arm. Maybe she just bought it? This smaller print is an impressive example for Hao Ping's mastersip in depicting elegant movements in what seem to be perfect compositions - full of tensions and harmony at the same time.
