Famous Places on the Tokaido: # 2 Artist: Kunichika Format: Oban tate-e: 13.75" x 9.25" Subject: Travellers crossing Tenryu-gawa River in a ferry boat, in the background on the bank of the river a Daimyo's procession. Publisher: Ise Kane Date: c. 1864 Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed in margins. Strips of backing paper along lateral edges on verso. A paper flaw in bokashi at top. A printer's un-inked area in trees at left edge. Minor marks and flaws. Generally good state of preservation. Impression: Good impression.
