Wednesday, 14 September 2011 Unknown8 - Bridge at Sunset- 1.jpg This is a vintage wood block print, not an original wood block. It is a gorgeous print that was professionally framed in the 1950’s and is ready to hang. I have no idea how old the print actually is. The print inside the matting measures 9? x 7? inches. The overall dimensions of the framed picture is 15? x 13?. On the backing of the picture frame is marked, “Original woodcut print by Uchida Hide “Seta Too Bashi” (Bridge At Seta).” There is some very minor foxing around the sun on this print but it blends in and is not a detraction in my opinion. There are no other flaws that I can find.
