Kuchi-e: The Purple Kimono Artist: Takeuchi Keishu Format: Aiban tate-e: 10.75" x 8.5" Subject: The half-length portrait of a young beauty wearing a purple kimono walking in a Pine garden. Date: c. 1900 Condition: Slightly trimmed. Two horizontal foldmarks. Slight soils and offsetting. Minor rubbing, marks and flaws. Generally good state. Colour: Fine colors. Impression: Very good impression with gauffrage and silver pigment.
