Kawano Kaoru, Japanese 1916-1965 DESCRIPTION This wonderful Japanese Woodblock Print comes from the Estate of an 84 year old doctor. Kawano Kaoru is best known for his abstract textured images of children. This print is of A Seated Girl Under a Tree with Fruit. It’s a very good impression with mica highlights on the background, and is probably circa 1950’s. DETAILS TITLE ? Unknown A Seated Girl Under a Tree with Fruit PENCIL- SIGNED ? lower right, Kawano Kaoru and red sealed. UNFRAMED - Sheet size: 11 ?” x 16 ?” Image size: 10” x 14 ?” CONDITION Very Good.
