Title Child and Bird - No.393 Artist Shuzo Ikeda born 1922 Short Biography Signature Signed in white in the image; title, date and edition number in pencil on the lower margin Dated 1962 . Edition Size 30. Numbered 24 / 30 Description "No.393". The strong black outlines and dark colors were reminiscent to those of Georges Rouault. But Ikeda's pictures had none of the serious religeous connotations or sadness. The children in his pictures seem to involve in their innocent activities in the warm, dark and fuzzy dream in the past. Width 8.9 inches = 22.5 cm Height 13.3 inches = 33.8 cm
