This is a large, original 1959, limited edition woodblock print by the eminent 20th century Japanese artist Shuzo Ikeda (1922-2004), depicting a young woman with Ikeda's characteristically exaggerated eyes and flowing line. As is also characteristic of Ikeda's work it is titled with the sequential number in his oeuvre, "No. 383". It is number 17 of an edition of 20. The image area measures 17?" x 11?"
