Artist HIREZAKI, Eiho (1881-1970) Title "A Pensive Bijin" (given name) Date c1900 Series unk Publisher unk Seal, Carver/Printer unk Image Size 8 5/8 x 11 3/4 Impression Very fine; nicely executed and "bokashi" shading; "burnishing" to layered hair; crisply detailed lines. Condition Very Good+. Strong colors. (Very light wear, and two folds typical of all "kuchi-e".) Reference/Illus See Article #10: "Kuchi-e," or Literary Magazine Frontispieces.
