描述：

Prisoners' Round (after Vincent Van Gogh - after Gustav Dor) by Gihachiro Okuyama. Original woodblock print dated August Showa 32 (1957). Print measures 13.8 x 10.8 inches. Very good condition. A little foxing as shown. Light tape residue on verso top margin. Fine color and impression. Pencil dated and signed in characters in left margin. Pencil titled and signed in bottom margin. Good texture and ink bleedthrough. One of a handful of woodblock prints Gihachiro made of Van Gogh paintings. Van Gogh made this painting based on the work "Newgate: The Exercise Yard" by Gustav Dor. The subject matters is of particular interest considering Van Gogh's self-imposed internment.
