Triptych: The Fire Flashes Artist: Chikanobu Format: Oban triptych: each sheet: 15" x 10" Subject: A young bride dancing by night, amid falling thunderbolts, holding a devil mask. A most unusual and dramatic design. Date: 1/4/1903 Condition: Fine colors. Full size with huge margins. Minor soils, marks and flaws. Generally fine state of preservation. Impression: Very good impressions with gauffrage, silver pigment and lacquer.
