Friday, 13 May 2011 Beautiful color with no evidence of fading, the image measures 14 ?” x 6 1/8”, as seen through the wood mat. A label on the back indicates “Mt. Fuji in Evening, Artist ? Chowka” and it retains the original art shop paper label. In the original frame that measures 20 7/8” x 12 3/8”, and matted (with a wood mat) under glass. The total weight is 2 ? lbs. A clean image with marks along the upper right and also an orange chop marks in the bottom right corner. Probably circa the 1930s.
