Colour woodblock print, one sheet of an oban diptych, the character ‘2’ (‘ni’) within a circle indicating that this is the second sheet. The kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro VII as the sumo wrestler Shirafuji Genta, holding an open fan and kiseru pipe with a tobacco tray and tobacco pouch on the floor in front of him; in the Kiyomoto dance drama ‘Sono uwasa sakura no irodoki’ by Sakurada Jisuke I, performed at the Nakamura-za in the 3rd month of 1825.
