From the series "Gekko Zuihitsu" ("Gekko's Essay"). Master sculptor Hidari Jingoro looks at his just finished statue. The legend said that his sculptures were so life-like that they started moving around. He made the famous "sleeping cat" sculpture which decorated the entrance of Toshogu Shrine.
