Large foreign sail boat. Exotic animals such as an elephant and a tiger are on board. This could refer to the Dutch who had the trade monopoly with Japan for more than 200 years and who used to present the Japanese emperor exotic animals as presents at the occasions of the annual processions to Kyoto to show respect to the emperor.
