Tokaido Goju-san Tsugi no Uchi" (Fifty-Three Stations along the Tokaido) This series was commonly called, "Yakusha Tokaido" (Kabuki Actor's Tokaido). It was actually meant to be the bust portrait of kabuki actors whose names were not mentioned because of the censorship banning the luxury or pleasure items. The portrait was depicted with a beautiful landscape background. The series was very popular and more than 150 designs for many duplicate stations and in-between stations were produced. A traveling samurai Tadanobu at Fukuroi station.
