Mouse and kite spindle loaded with colorful strings. Seiho was famous for the fluid and naturalistic depiction of subjects which combined the traditional Nihon-ga and Western realism. One of the founders of the modern Nihon-ga Kyoto school, awarded Order of Cultural Merit in 1937.
