"Ujigawa Daikassen" (Battle of the Uji River). Sasaki Takatsuna and his famed horse, Ikezuki in the battle of Ujigawa. In this battle, Sasaki and his rival, Kajiwara (on a black horse named Surusumi) raced against each other for the first warrior to reach the opposite bank of the Uji-gawa River where their enemy had a stronghold.
